For the first heaven and the first earth
Had passed away and the sea was no more
Along with a new heaven, the apostle John also “saw a new earth”. The picture of Revelation 21 is the kingdom of God descending upon us. Physical, tastable, joyful. No more tears. This is the hope of Christ that keeps us going.
