Little sparrows, big problems
Oh Sparrow is a songwriting collaboration born from over a decade of shared faith and friendship among worship leaders and songwriters Alex and Corey Fleeman of Atlanta Westside Church and Chris Weldon of Redeemer West Side in New York City.
Their music is written for local worshiping communities, for broken individuals, and for all who feel like little sparrows facing big problems. Scripture-rooted and marked by honest questioning, their songs explore hope, heartbreak, and the ground in between. With acoustic guitars, piano, spacious textures, and layered, expressive vocals, they unfold patiently from intimate reflection into resilient, singable worship.
Oh Sparrow is currently releasing a series of singles ahead of When Words Won’t Come, their third full-length album, arriving in February 2027.
The album offers songs for waiting, weakness, lament, and renewal—when faith must be sung before it can be fully understood. It follows Settled Into Place (2024) and Learning to Trust (2025).
